4th Tunisia-Japan Symposium on Science and Technology (TJASST’03)

CALL FOR PAPERS

The organizing committee has the pleasure to invite you to attend The 4th Tunisia-Japan Symposium on Science and Technology (TJASST’03), which will be held at the National Institute of Applied Science and Technology (INSAT), Tunis, Tunisia during the period ongoing from April 27 to May 3, 2003.

TJASST is the annual Tunisian-Japan Interdisciplinary Symposium dedicated to the assimilation of the advancement of science and technology to improve the quality of our society.

TJASST is the result of the succession of previous initiatives held alternately in Japan and in Tunisia since 1998 (TIWSS, TJASST) and undertaken with boundless enthusiasm by Tunisian scientists and researchers in Japan.

The aim of this symposium is to bring together Tunisian and Japanese practitioners, researchers, and specialists from industry, government, and academia, in order to exchange ideas and experiences and discuss mutual interests related to several advanced research fields and technologies. Both fundamental research and commercial exploitation issues will be addressed and the state-of-the-art topics will be reviewed by a number of keynote presentations.

Special focus will be made to the progress of the Information Technology, Biotechnologies and Environments. The organizing committee of TJASST is very confident that this symposium will enhance the achievements of the previous conferences (TJASST, TIWSS) and will contribute to the promotion of the exchange of important and constructive ideas among Tunisian and Japanese scientists in mutual interests related to many fields of research.
