SCHEDULE AND ORGANIZATION

The second-year students in the preparatory cycles fulfilling the conditions in terms of scientific level and studies' regularity fixed by the class-council are allowed to sit for the national competitive examinations in order to attend the cycles of engineer's training. There are four competitive examinations :

  • competitive examination in biology and geology
  • competitive examination in mathematics and physics
  • competitive examination in physics and chemistry
  • competitive examination in technology

For every session, each institution of engineers' training fixes, in relation with these various competitive examinations, a determined number of places.

In the candidacy's file to one of the competitive examinations, the applicant should classify, in a preference order, all the concerned institutions of engineers' training.

Each competitive examination comprises written and oral tests. The candidates admitted in the written test pass the oral test at the end of which they will be classified by merit order. The jury establishes then the list of the candidates admitted definitely as well as a waiting list.
