The B.A degree (Maîtrise) of French language and literature experiences today a renewal of interest among the students. The need for French teacher is so great that more and more students wish to be orientated to this discipline. Besides, French enjoys in Tunisia a special status compared to other foreign languages. Many professional prospects are offered to the holders of the B.A degree in French, mainly in the private sector, in which French is frequently used, given the economic links between Tunisia and France and other francophone countries.
