The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Slim Choura, received the World Bank Operations Manager for Tunisia, Middle East and North Africa
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Slim Choura, received today on Friday, 22 May 2020, the World Bank Operations Manager for Tunisia, Middle East and North Africa, Mr. Micheal Verheijen, and the Senior Education Specialist, Mr. Michael Drabble.
During the meeting, a number of current topics were discussed, such as the Ministry’s strategy and concrete measures in relation to institutional autonomy, internal and external quality assurance, and the exportation of Tunisia’s know-how and expertise to Africa. The meeting also focused on recent positive advances in the Higher Education Modernization Project in Support of Employability (PromEssE), as well as a set of Ministry’s future post-pandemic initiatives.
